Jim is incredibly lazy and selfish, and creates a culture of laziness in the office. He encourages and manipulates Michael to get involved in escapades to avoid work.
He constantly bullies Dwight, and encourages others to do so also.
He undermines Pam and Roy's engagement by pretending to be Pam's closest friend in the office, and at the same time undermining Roy, and pushing him towards violent actions.
